With the most romantic day of the year being around the corner, we asked our people, what they love about working at #TeamBeat and what motivates them to move the Beat wheels forward with passion.
“What I love about being part of this team is that I can grab growth opportunities,” marks Anastasia Favva, Product Manager at Beat. Indeed, in this team, we are mutually learning from one another and developing solutions cross-functionally while educating ourselves. Thus, in 2018, we launched the Personal Training Budget for Beat employees which can be used for anything that is not covered by our internal Beat Learning offerings. We also have Enrichment Days! A no-meetings day happening at Beat once per three months, that gives us the opportunity to dedicate some valuable time to focus on our personal growth and development.
“One of the things I really enjoy is that we are eager to help each other at any time,” highlights Nikhil Goel, Backend Engineer at Beat. Working together, boosting one another, helping each other and being real team players is part of our culture. We choose to put Us above I, we value team interactions both physically and remotely as part of who we are and will remain in the future.
If you were to pick one #TeamBeat memory so far, what would it be?
“Welcome drinks with my team!” shares Bojan Dimovski, Senior Engineering Manager – Mobile at Beat.
“The day we moved to our new headquarters. I recalled all our memories from the past such as celebrating successes, markets’ launches, colleagues’ birthdays, supporting each other on failures, having lunch all together,” says Georgia Panormitou, Talent Acquisition Partner at Beat. Our offices around the globe have all been designed to be as comfortable and accommodating to our work as possible. We keep growing!
“Even the smallest act of joy and love, like giving away a red rose on Valentine’s day, has been a #TeamBeat memory. Strong bonds since day one,” points Alexios Polyzos, Site Reliability Engineer at Beat.
If you had to picture #TeamBeat, what image would that be?
“I imagine us as an image of warriors! Since we fight to increase the impact in the life of our users by bringing the best of ourselves, every single day,” says Jorge Ramírez, Supply Operations Manager at Beat. We strive to help people improve their quality of life, and this goes beyond transportation. We bring out the best in our cities, because they bring out the best in us. We provide all of our employees with countless opportunities to get involved and share their passion, to keep our communities as upbeat, diverse, and dynamic as the people that live in them.
