Beat participated in ANDICOM 2019, the most important ICT Congress in Latin America and a significant meeting point for the industry in the region. As a technology company with a main growth focus in Latin America, it was the perfect occasion for us to share our knowledge and support the development of the region. 

Mauricio López, Beat’s General Manager in Colombia, mentioned during his business talk:

The main theme of this year’s Congress was Turning on your business: the Digital Toolbox. The keynotes provided the participants with learning scenarios to discover ways to activate their businesses: from talent capacities and the knowledge of new technologies to marketing strategies, the use of innovation methodologies, and more. All these elements are part of the digital word toolbox within the framework of the public policies of Colombia and the Region.


Cecile Novion, Beat’s Regional General Manager for Latin America, delivered a presentation entitled Culture as a lever for business growth. Through her presentation, she revealed the secret behind Beat’s hyper growth: Our people.

“Our technology and our talent help us being fast, effective, and efficient in the search for solutions to cover the needs of our users. It also allows us to develop and positively contribute to the quality of life of people in the cities we operate in” .

Transformation to growth is essential for all companies and ANDICOM is the ideal place to embrace some of the most relevant tools to achieve this. People and talent need to be placed in the center of the transformation. As Cecile highlighted:

Cecile Novion also participated in an insightful panel discussion around the topic of the Future of Mobility, along with representatives from other key players in the ride-sharing industry. Urban mobility is constantly changing and upgrading, and ride-hailing apps play a significant role in this evolution.

As part of one of the biggest mobility groups in the world, Beat is actively contributing to the present and the future of how people move in their cities and draws maximum benefit from the opportunities opened up by digitalization, shared services and the increasing mobility needs of our customers.
