Cities are our home. We always want to see the best in them and be inspired by their peoples’ will to never stop moving. That is why we are committed to standing by these people. Through the good times and the bad.
Chile’s Santiago is going through a rough time. Demonstrations and upheavals -due to a 4% metro fare rise- caused a lot of destruction, with a state of emergency being declared in the Chilean capital. Everyday life in the city has been completely disrupted, in part because of severe damage to the metro stations. People have lost access to one of the most popular means of public transportation in their city.
At Beat, we take great pride in our deep, long standing connection with the local communities we serve, so we wanted to help immediately. Due to the current situation in the country, we understand how difficult it is for people to get to any place in Santiago. So, to support their mobility needs, two shuttle buses by Beat will be covering the metro line 4 route completely free of charge, all throughout November, helping everyone move around more easily.
We’re one with our cities and their people. Where next?
